Welcome to the Internet home of Acholi Beads, the beautiful jewelry handmade from recycled paper by refugees from northern Uganda.

Acholi Beads is a socially proactive business. Through this little venture we are working to improve the world, at least a little. Here’s how:

• We employ people affected by war and injustice in Uganda
• We use our brand to share their story with the world
• Our products are made from recycled paper
• We support efforts to bring peace and development to northern Uganda
